The Goal.
We want to recognize all parts of the business and highlight the key ways that inventory and schedules are met. Each location has the same processes, and one provider is the same for each. We will all visit, and interview managers and owners to find out what we need to in order to fulfill our project goals.

The Origins.
Dominick's Pizza was founded by original owner Salvatore Scavo from Carini, Sicily. Salvatore moved to the United States in 1964, originally working in construction.
In 1966 he started working in a local pizza shop in Brooklyn.
In 1968 Salvatore and his four brothers took things to central New Jersey. Salvatore opened one of his first pizzerias in 1968 on the Somerville circle.
From there on Salvatore started expanding operations all over New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. At one point owning and operating 18 different locations.
As time went on he had to hand operations down to his son, son in-law, and cousin. His cousin Michele Pannia opened an extension to one location in Bedminster, and called it Trattoria Mediterranea.
While the his son Vito and son in-law Giuseppe ran the other pizzeria locations. Now down to just four locations and one being a restaurant with a huge following, they continue to serve up the tradition that Salvatore started over 50 years ago.
